Family Feature

For the project you will be painting your families, or parts of your families in daily life, in portraits, or in memorable events that evoke emotions in yourself, your family, and your classmates. You may use any of the painting materials at your disposal after you have looked through the website, and finished a sketch of what you want your final painting to look like. You will also write a one or two paragraph paper of your ideas and processes as an overview of your paintings and of your creative processes involved in getting to your final product. The reflection is due on critique day or the last day of the project. When completed your class as a whole will hold a critique using the discussion questions you will be given before you start your paintings and a set of questions given to stimulate meaningful connections throughout the class’s works of art.
